WHEN WILL WE REOPEN?
The Session has designated Sunday, May 30, as the grand reopening of First Presbyterian Church for in-person worship. Thank you for the patience and understanding that you have shown during this all-too-long time of isolation. We will keep you posted on guidelines that will need to be followed, including masking and social distancing. Still, what a joy it will be to join together in worship once more!
TO KNOW CHRIST AND TO BE COMMITTED DISCIPLES IN
GOD'S KINGDOM HERE ON EARTH
Established in 1885, First Presbyterian Church has remained a vibrant presence in the Highlands community, serving the spiritual needs of the congregation and beyond. First Presbyterian Church of Highlands was listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. In June 2014, we dedicated our Memorial Garden, located on the southwest edge of the church property. The Memorial Garden serves as a beautiful, quiet place of respite and reflection.
The garden provides a well-maintained and consecrated site for the interment of ash remains and memorialization of church members and their families.
